On 27 June, p‑consulting.gr, the Greek partner, presented our project and its key deliverables during a Europe‑wide webinar organised by the Gender Equality Task Force (GE TF). The online session, themed “Inclusion of unemployed women into the labour market: The relevance of lifelong learning approaches”, was co-hosted by EAEA, EfVET, and EARLALL, gathering experts and initiatives from across the EU.
The presentation highlighted GUIDE’s major outputs:
- Digital tools for stereotype identification and career decision‑making styles, designed to help career counsellors, trainees, and educators uncover and reduce unconscious bias.
- The e-learning course Gender‑Sensitive Career Guidance and the comprehensive Career Guidance Toolkit, featuring ready‑to‑use materials, templates, and best‑practice case studies soon to be available.
It was also announced the launch of the pilot-testing phase for our e‑learning course, currently welcoming early users. This five-module online course offers:
- Introduction to Gender Sensitivity in Career Guidance
- Gender Equality in the European Labour Market
- Detecting gender stereotypes in career decisions
- Co-creation and gender awareness
- Effective implementation of Gender-sensitive career guidance and creating inclusive career pathways
Colleagues from partner organisations across Europe joined the session, showcasing the collaborative and pan-European nature of GUIDE.
It was also a pleasure to welcome a hosted intern from the ACHADE, the Development Entity of the Chamber of Achaia, within the framework of EDIFY EDU Erasmus project, who participated to gain insight into gender-sensitive guidance practices.
We warmly invite counsellors, teachers, and trainers across Europe to join the pilot phase: explore the e‑course, provide feedback for improvement, and receive a Certificate along with early access to all materials before the full launch.
