The Open event with the topic of ‘Stereotypes in the career decision process’ organised by Eurosuccess Consulting, took place at the Nicosia Multifunctional Centre of Nicosia’s Municipality on the 6th of February, 2024.
The event was attended by a total of 16 participants that were mainly:
- School educators
- Higher Education academics
- Professionals in career guidance and counselling
- Centers of Educational and Counselling Support
- Students from organisations, involved in career guidance.
The objectives of the Open Event, were:
- To ensure the direct dissemination of the Digital Tool for Identifying Stereotypes in Career Decisions
- To raise awareness regarding the importance of the issue of gender stereotypes in career decisions for all genders
- To promote and disseminate the project’s results to the direct and indirect target groups of the Guide project.
During the event, the Erasmus+ ‘Guide’ project along with its objectives and up-to-date activities were introduced, while the Digital tool for identifying gender stereotypes in career decision was presented. This was followed by a hands-on session, in which participants had the opportunity to interact with the digital tools and provide their input.
