demonstrar que, com sensibilidade e ferramentas atualizadas, podem apoiar eficazmente indiv\u00edduos, organiza\u00e7\u00f5es e diferentes contextos. Segundo os autores Nota e Soresi (2017), definem o &#8220;Aconselhamento Profissional&#8221; como uma rela\u00e7\u00e3o profissional que capacita indiv\u00edduos, fam\u00edlias e grupos diversos a alcan\u00e7ar objetivos de sa\u00fade mental, bem-estar, educa\u00e7\u00e3o e carreira.<\/p>\n<p>De acordo com os estudos de Serbova e outros (2022), que apresentam um modelo de forma\u00e7\u00e3o em sensibilidade de g\u00e9nero em aconselhamento de carreira, este enfatiza o desenvolvimento de conhecimentos, compet\u00eancias e valores que promovam a igualdade de g\u00e9nero. Os principais componentes incluem a compreens\u00e3o dos estere\u00f3tipos de g\u00e9nero, a sensibiliza\u00e7\u00e3o para pr\u00e1ticas n\u00e3o discriminat\u00f3rias e o incentivo a escolhas de carreira informadas. As compet\u00eancias envolvem uma comunica\u00e7\u00e3o e colabora\u00e7\u00e3o eficazes com organiza\u00e7\u00f5es especializadas que apoiam a igualdade de g\u00e9nero. Os valores centram-se no respeito, na inclus\u00e3o e na import\u00e2ncia de criar um ambiente educativo favor\u00e1vel que capacite todos os alunos, independentemente do g\u00e9nero, para explorarem o seu potencial livremente.<\/p>\n<p>As disparidades de g\u00e9nero nas \u00e1reas STEM h\u00e1 muito que impedem a igualdade de oportunidades para as mulheres, limitando a sua participa\u00e7\u00e3o e contribui\u00e7\u00e3o para a for\u00e7a de trabalho global. Apesar da crescente consciencializa\u00e7\u00e3o global sobre a necessidade de paridade de g\u00e9nero nas STEM, persistem disparidades significativas. Este desequil\u00edbrio \u00e9 frequentemente influenciado por normas socioculturais que limitam a participa\u00e7\u00e3o feminina em \u00e1reas cient\u00edficas e t\u00e9cnicas (Iloakasia, 2024). Sabemos que esta disparidade de g\u00e9nero nas STEM \u00e9 motivada mais pelo preconceito do que pela capacidade (Luyckx e outros, 2023). Os orientadores de carreira nas escolas t\u00eam o potencial de dissipar mitos sobre a dificuldade das disciplinas STEM e incentivar as alunas a v\u00ea-las como op\u00e7\u00f5es de carreira vi\u00e1veis \u200b\u200b(Syeda &amp; Zahid, 2024).<\/p>\n<p>Embora grande parte das pol\u00edticas de igualdade de g\u00e9nero se concentre, com raz\u00e3o, na promo\u00e7\u00e3o da participa\u00e7\u00e3o feminina em \u00e1reas tradicionalmente dominadas por homens, \u00e9 igualmente importante reconhecer os sectores onde os homens est\u00e3o sub-representados. Profiss\u00f5es como a educa\u00e7\u00e3o pr\u00e9-escolar e prim\u00e1ria, a enfermagem, o servi\u00e7o social e a psicologia continuam a ter uma predomin\u00e2ncia feminina significativa. Por exemplo, na Uni\u00e3o Europeia, menos de 3% dos professores de educa\u00e7\u00e3o pr\u00e9-escolar s\u00e3o homens (Eurostat, 2021), e a propor\u00e7\u00e3o de homens em enfermagem raramente ultrapassa os 15% (OCDE, 2022). Esta distribui\u00e7\u00e3o desigual reflecte n\u00e3o s\u00f3 as prefer\u00eancias pessoais, mas tamb\u00e9m as normas culturais e os estere\u00f3tipos de g\u00e9nero que associam estas profiss\u00f5es ao &#8220;trabalho de cuidados&#8221;, tradicionalmente atribu\u00eddo \u00e0s mulheres. Enfrentar esta realidade exige o desenvolvimento de estrat\u00e9gias inclusivas atrav\u00e9s de sistemas de orienta\u00e7\u00e3o profissional que incentivem os jovens rapazes a explorar estas carreiras e a combater o estigma associado. A diversidade de g\u00e9nero nestes sectores pode contribuir para ambientes de trabalho mais equilibrados e para uma resposta mais abrangente \u00e0s necessidades da sociedade. \u00c1reas como o servi\u00e7o social, o apoio comunit\u00e1rio e a interven\u00e7\u00e3o familiar s\u00e3o tamb\u00e9m ocupadas em grande parte por mulheres. Os homens podem enfrentar estere\u00f3tipos de g\u00e9nero ao ingressar nestas carreiras, especialmente as relacionadas com o cuidado emocional (Crompton, R., 2006). Para adquirir conhecimentos, compet\u00eancias e valores para uma orienta\u00e7\u00e3o profissional com perspetiva de g\u00e9nero, listamos abaixo alguns exemplos de aplica\u00e7\u00e3o pr\u00e1tica para as institui\u00e7\u00f5es de ensino ou institutos de orienta\u00e7\u00e3o profissional alcan\u00e7arem a igualdade de oportunidades na orienta\u00e7\u00e3o profissional, tais
