On 26 November 2024, p-consulting.gr, in Patras, hosted the Open Event “Upgrading the Skills of Professionals for Gender-Sensitive Career Guidance”, organized by p-consulting.gr. The event welcomed 15 participants, including career guidance professionals, trainers, and liaison office representatives, who explored innovative tools and strategies to challenge stereotypes in career decisions.
Highlights included presentations of the GUIDE Project, the Digital Tool for Identifying Stereotypes, and the Co-Creation Model. Participants engaged in interactive activities with the co-creation counselling model, which fosters deeper understanding and inclusive practices.
Feedback was overwhelmingly positive, with attendees praising the practical value of the tools and the event’s organization. The discussions emphasized self-reflection and the need for gender-sensitive approaches in career guidance.
